Hi everybody! I hope you are ok

Today I found out that I got accepted to Stockholms University. The course I'm going to study is "Film studies" and that was my first hand choice, so I'm very happy!

And I don't have to leave home, it only takes 20 minutes by train to get there, so that's good too.

Tomorrow I will leave for a week and visit some of my relatives. They live in Sweden too, but it's a five hours drive north to get there.

Yesterday I graduated from high school!

I’m both happy and sad at the same time. Sad because I’m going to miss my class mates and some of my teachers, and happy because I’ve finished school!

At first we took some person portraits and then some pictures of the whole class. We had “a meeting” with our teacher and then a final lunch. Then there was a program in the lecture hall where some of the teachers performed And then we ran out on a platform outside school were family and friends waited

Here in Sweden it’s a tradition to ride on a lorry platform and shoot beer over each other (and listen to very high music of course, haha! ) So we did that too, naturally! Do you have that tradidtion somwhere else? I got really wet, not just because of the beer, but it was raining too. It was very cold and windy.

And then I had a reception where friends and relatives came. Some of them I hadn’t seen in years. It felt a bit strange to be the centre of it all and get gifts from everyone, but good too.

Along with other things I got jewellery, some cookware, and a gift check for massage and quite a lot of money. But the best gift of all was that me and my brother got a trip to Barcelona from our parents!! I didn’t see that one coming at all! We're going all four on Sunday

On the evening we went to a club To summarize it all it was a wonderful day (exept for the lousy weather)!

Hi!

I came home from Rome 4 days ago. I had a great time! I didn't want to home! It was so wonderful to feel the warmth of the sun and to see the flowers and green trees. I thought that the spring had come to Sweden too, but obviously not, there was a snow storm today. I was covered in snow by the time I got home...

The first day in Rome we visited the Roman Forum (which is remains from the antique Rome), Colosseum and Palatine Hill (which is one of the seven hills of Rome).

The second day we went to EUR which Mussolini build during the facist regime, and after that we whent to the Vatican city and st Peter's Basilica.

We saw many other things, but these are the most famous ones.

Hi everybody!

I hope that you all are well

First, I would like to tell you about "Earth Hour" which is one hour when you should turn off all your electical equipment. The reason for it is to make all the politicians and other people who are leaders to concider the environment, which we all should do Without the environment WE can't live.

The idea comes from WWF and it's on Saturday 28th (in March). In GMT (Greenwitch Mean Time) It's 19:30 - 20:30, so in Sweden it's 20:30 -21:30. You can check out your time here: [link] and read about it here: [link] It's imoprtant that as many as possible is doing it. Your actions count!

There are many things you can do; you can tell each other ghost stories, hold someones hand etc

Secondly I'm going to Rome with my class on Sunday!! It's going to be so much fun! We will be there for five days, and look at architecture and museums and such, but in the evenings we will be free I've been looking forward to this for more than a year, and now it's time. Finally!
